The staff were warm and cute. The service was professional and attentive from arrival to departure. The bar provided a cozy ambiance. I could even watch sports. I particularly enjoyed a nice hot chocolate. The outdoor lawn games, including boules and croquet, added a charming, playful touch.

I found that soundproofing could be improved, as I could hear hairdryers in neighboring rooms.

The hotel benefits from its prime position beside the river. It is peaceful yet a short stroll from the city centre. The outlook from my first floor room across the courtyard to the river was beautiful. Floor to ceiling windows maximized the view.

i found that parking had an additional charge. i was quite surprised by this at a supposed 5-star hotel. there were no glasses in the room, only plastic cups. it also took some time to get some ice for the room.

i found the parking charge to be a surprise. it was £15 per night. plastic cups were in the room, i didn't like that. i asked for ice and they gave me bucket, there wasn't any ice tongs.

I found some disappointing aspects . our room had no proper glasses, only paper cups. It felt very cheap! dinner was just okay, i was expecting more for the price. parking was extra at £15 a night, it should have been included.
